Smart training begins in the mind. Here at milon, we have thought about for 40 years how to make fitness equipment safer, more comfortable and more effective. In 1986, milon (in those days under its original name miha) was the first provider of electronically controlled training systems. We were among the pioneers in Europe to use smart cards. But our greatest achievement to date has undoubtedly been the development of a fully automatic memory function. This enables milon fitness equipment to automatically switch to the appropriate settings based on the user's physical profile and personal exercise programme, as soon as the smart card is inserted. These three innovative developments, the smart card, the electronics and the memory function combined in a space-saving circuit concept are unique in the world.

Another major asset of milon is the practice-oriented consulting. We are not merely an equipment manufacturer but equally a solution provider for the health market. This approach has firmly established our company in the industry. In the German speaking territory we have a market share of about 30 percent of training equipment sales. In the sector of smart card controlled equipment we are market leader. We have a sales presence in 17 foreign countries based on our own distribution organisation. It is the milon circuit which creates growing interest internationally since there is no comparable training system existing at present.
