How the Smart Card Control works.

All milon training systems are operated with a smart card. It is the ticket admitting the customer to the milon world. Before the first training session, the trainer enters the user's physical profile and the appropriate equipment settings and transfers the data, including seat position, movement amplitudes and pulse rate, to the smart card.  As soon as the smart card is inserted into the card reader, milon fitness equipment automatically switches to the customer's or patient's personal profile and the exercise can start immediately (see also Memory Function).

At the end of the exercise, the user presses the stop button on the display. At that moment, the training data are stored on the smart card. The trainer transfers the data on his PC and is able to analyse them with the milon training software. In this way, he always keeps track of the training history. If the customer or patient is making headway, the trainer simply modifies the equipment setting. The user's influence is restricted to weight resistance - he or she may raise or lower the resistance level depending on how he or she is feeling on that day. If this is not desired (for example in therapy), the trainer has the option to firmly adjust the weight.
